HBA Remodelers Welcome to the HBA of Greater Cleveland Remodelers page. The HBA Remodelers is a trade association that represents and serves the interests of our members who are involved in the remodeling industry in Northeast Ohio. From the consumer perspective, you may ask, what does that mean to you? Our members are professional remodeling contractors who are continually striving to enhance their knowledge within our ever changing industry. To help them maintain their professionalism, our members constantly take advantage of the many benefits and educational opportunities offered through the HBA Remodelers. Becoming a member of the association requires a contractor to go through a lengthy qualification and approval process. Just being a member demonstrates to the consumer a member’s determination to uphold the professionalism, quality and value they can offer their clients. They have an excellent knowledge and subscribe to the highest standards in the industry. Many members have even taken additional educational opportunities to set themselves apart. They’ve gone on to acquire NAHB certified designations such as CGR (Certified Graduate Remodeler) and CAPS (Certified Aging in Place Specialist). If your contractor has earned these designations, you can be assured that they also understand the value of continuing education and are ready to do their best for you. Our members also know that the association will continually stay abreast of any legislative action in Northeast Ohio that impacts our industry. And through our affiliations with the OHBA (Ohio Home Builders Association), and the NAHB (National Home Builders Association), we also stay abreast of any legislative action at the state and national levels. No other local remodeling associations can attest to these capabilities. Our association fights to represent our members and through our members, the consumer. Now I ask again, what does this mean to you? Remodeling can be a fun yet intimidating experience. Whether you’re just thinking about remodeling, in the design phase, or ready to start, our members can provide you with all the comfort, tools, customer service and quality required to make smart decisions.
